Signifigance: This chapter is about Waverly Jong as she becomes a chess champion but unfortunately, her mother, in Waverly's rising fame, decides to showcase her like a trophy for her own recognition. When Waverly points this out, her mother blames her for dishonoring her mother. Most chapters were about the child's wrongdoing and dishonor and are more focused on the mother. But this seemed to lean towards Waverly's opinion.
